Sunbeam and Spoon Bridge
I scrambled across the granite counter carrying my pumpkin toward the brightest square of afternoon light! Right beside a glass measuring cup, a polished silver soup spoon lay face-down across a wooden coaster. I nestled my pumpkin into the curve of the spoon handle, then leaned all my weight onto the rounded scoop. Clatter! The handle tipped upward like a shiny metal seesaw! My pumpkin gave a tiny wobble in the golden beam, grinning straight through the glass reflections. We tested it three more times until we got the balance just right!
