Bouncing Over Fallen Leaves
I trotted out through the garden gate and bounced all the way down the smooth brick pathway to the neighborhood park! Near the shady wooden gazebo, a big, crunchy drift of dry autumn leaves had gathered across the soft grass. *Squeak!* With a springy leap, I dove right into the fluffy mound. The golden leaves crackled like tiny party favors beneath my smooth tummy, scattering in a wide, swirling circle. I bobbed in the center of the leaf crater, listening to the breezy rustle tickle my upright ears!
