A Strategic Realignment
Having secured passage beyond the sliding track, I stepped onto the balcony tiles to inspect the perimeter. A terracotta planter occupied the sunlit corner, accompanied by a cluster of smooth white garden pebbles strewn haphazardly across the gray stone floor. Leaving such organic forms in a state of entropy seemed unproductive. I selected four pebbles of uniform diameter. Crouching with deliberate care to prevent any scuffing along my leather oxfords, I nudged each stone into a precise linear grid along the grout line, spaced exactly two centimeters apart. The visual noise of the outdoor floor is now satisfactorily subdued.
