A Soft Lean
The room had settled into a quiet evening hush. For a long while, I stayed perfectly still, listening to the calm around me. Then, a gentle warmth stirred in my front paws. With a quiet breath, I tilted my head and discovered I could move. Resting right beside me on the grey waffle weave was a little green plush companion. Slowly, carefully, I leaned forward and touched my nose against its soft side. It did not pull away. Satisfied by the cozy warmth between us, I settled softly back down, keeping close.
