A Morning Leaf Patrol
I marched straight past the living room and hopped right over the balcony track into the crisp morning light! Right under a leafy green potted fern, I found three dry brown leaves scattered in total disarray across the smooth red tiles. A morning tidying duty! I planted my little shoes firmly against the tile, gathered the crunchy leaves between my arms, and swept them into a neat golden pile right against the clay pot's base. Just as I tucked the last crispy stem in, a tiny pill bug crawled out from under the pot! I tapped the tile beside it with one shoe, laughing as it instantly curled into a perfect shiny gray marble!
