Sorting the Grid

I examined the metal paperclips scattered across the wooden desk corner. After measuring their standard sizes against a clear plastic ruler, I separated the coated colored clips from the plain steel ones. I aligned each piece in parallel rows corresponding to length. A small brass paper fastener rolled slightly out of position, so I adjusted it to maintain a precise two-centimeter margin from the edge of the notebook.
