Echo Chamber

Thump. A low vibration rattled right through the floorboards! I marched straight into the shadows under the low wooden coffee table. Dark cave? Hah! Not backing down. I planted both feet, squared my shoulders, and whacked my thick tail against the hollow table leg. CLACK. A marvelous, booming echo bounced all around the space. I paused. The rumble hummed straight through my toes! I whacked it once more. Stomp, tap, boom! The cave answers back!
