Incline Descent
I positioned myself at the upper rim of a thick hardcover art catalog propped against the pen holder. My objective was to reach the office chair below. Upon planting my lead foot on the glossy laminate surface, surface friction dropped below the threshold. I slid down the forty-five-degree incline in a single continuous glide, landing square on the mesh seat cushion. My knee joints absorbed the downward momentum cleanly. The transit was considerably faster than standard pacing.
