Air Pressure Check
The front console of the bicycle was secure, but the ground interface remained unverified. I descended the fork toward the front axle hub, planting my boots onto the coarse fibers of the entryway doormat. Near the rim, the rubber tire valve extended outward, sealed by a knurled black cap. I gripped the cap with both gloves and twisted. The threading broke free with minimal resistance. Pressing the exposed brass stem with my thumb elicited a sharp, pressurized hiss of escaping air. Immediate structural response. The tire retains sufficient psi for high-speed deployment.
