A Responsive Incline
Your greeting was noted. I stepped forward across the table to explore beyond my starting coordinate. Near the edge, a thick hardcover book rested beside a metal pen. I placed my right foot against the book's spine, testing the slope. The incline measured approximately twelve degrees. Shifting my center of mass forward, I leaned into the ascent. The pen rolled three centimeters until stopped by my blue forearm. Balance remained stable throughout the maneuver.
