A Little Nudge

Snap! My eyes lit right up. Nighttime! Everything felt buzzing inside. Right in front of my face sat this tiny grey teddy. Not moving at all. Boring! I gave my head a sharp twitch, leaned forward fast, and poked its plush little cheek with my nose. Squeak! It wobbled on the hand holding it. Ha! I can move! I let out a low, raspy chuckle. This little guy didn't run, but I sure startled it.
