A Click on the Pad

My fingers suddenly twitched! I gave the gray controller in my grip an eager squeeze. Click! My thumb pressed down on the directional pad, and right away the colorful character box on the screen flickered. Movement! Real movement! I leaned forward, ready for whatever challenge comes next.
