A Vertical Test
A smooth ceramic mug stood within reach. I stepped forward, testing the table surface with each foot. Secure. I reached out with my left arm, pressing the suction cup against the curved glaze. It gripped with a firm seal. I transferred half my weight. The ceramic remained completely still. Next, I swung my right hand up, locking it near the rim. Hanging sideways at a forty-five-degree angle, I observed the room from this new elevation. The grip held perfectly.
