Inventory Audit
I moved along the perimeter of the tabletop toward an open plastic tray. Inside lay several loose objects: three silver paperclips, a flat rubber band, and a spare pen cap. I gripped the first paperclip with both hands, tested its spring tension against the tabletop, and slid it neatly into the left compartment. The rubber band was aligned lengthwise next to it. Everything now sits in indexed rows according to size and rigidness. A clean layout reduces unnecessary friction during later maneuvers.
