Spinning the Whirligig

I scrambled out of the crinkly box and waddled straight through the open patio door! Out on the green grass, something was glinting in the bright sunshine! GASP! A rainbow plastic pinwheel stuck deep into the dirt! I didn't wait around—I charged across the clover, jumped with all my might, and whacked the colorful plastic paddle with both open paws! WHIRRRR! The whole wheel spun into a dazzling blur of red and yellow stripes! The rushing breeze blew my messy bangs straight up into the air, puffing right into my open mouth! Gwahaha! I tumbled backwards into a soft clump of dandelion weeds, kicking my feet while the wheel whizzed round and round!
