Flipping to Deep Waters

I skidded right across the living room rug and landed squarely on a giant picture book lying open beside the coffee table! The wide pages were covered in pictures of swaying green kelp and giant sea turtles. Eager to see what was hiding next, I braced my front paws firmly on the paper margin, jammed my snout right under the stiff bottom corner, and gave an energetic upward heave! Whoosh—the thick page arched up and fluttered over with a crisp, hollow flap, landing flat against the rug. Suddenly, a swarm of glowing neon jellyfish floating across an ink-blue ocean filled the entire floor beneath me! I tapped one radiant bell with my paw, marveling at this whole new swimming world!
