Cozy Slippers
I waddled back up the wooden porch steps and slipped quietly inside through the gap beneath the front door. Inside the entryway, a thick wool slipper was resting beside the bench leg, its fleece collar curved open like a soft, fluffy cave. I brushed a stray speck of garden moss from my foot, then gave the padded toe a gentle nudge with my snout. It gave a pillowy squish. Wiggling carefully inside, I nestled deep into the warm sherpa lining and rested my chin over the curved rim. After a long day out in the garden, this fuzzy hideaway is the coziest spot to rest.
