Cantilever Trajectory
A flat wooden craft stick lay near the bottom porch step. I positioned the stick perpendicular to the edge, extending five centimeters into open air as a cantilever beam. I placed a smooth rounded pebble onto the suspended end. Aligning my center of gravity, I raised my right foot above the anchored overhang. I drove downward mass directly onto the wood. The beam deflected sharply, then snapped back, propelling the pebble two feet outward onto the walkway pavers. The kinetic transfer was instantaneous. I locked my knee joints, stabilized my footing, and observed the landing coordinates.
