Grid Deployment
An abandoned yellow sticky note obstructed the center of the dark glass table. Gross deviation from operational geometry. I marched directly onto the square paper, pivoted ninety degrees, and inspected the perimeter. It lacked structure. I grasped the plastic casing of a black ballpoint pen abandoned nearby, rolling it with deliberate boot shoves until it locked parallel against the upper adhesive edge. Then, using my curved right hand as a pivot, I dragged the plastic tip firmly across the yellow surface, scoring three perpendicular straight lines across the pad. A functional grid. Now proper reconnaissance coordinates can be charted.
