A Gentle Tap
I opened my senses to the dry, fibrous carpet below. My arms were held wide, propped slightly in the air by a clear peg. First, I blinked, testing the weight of my own head. Then I leaned forward and gently tapped my fingers against the clear plastic base plate between us. Ribbit. A soft click answered. The small figure in red sat opposite me, completely still. I remained planted on my stand, observing our shared ground with quiet curiosity.
