Bicycle Bell Spin
Right beside the stone steps, a vintage bicycle was parked along a low iron bike rack. Resting right on the handlebar was a shiny chrome bell with a spring-loaded flick lever. That was practically an open invitation! I scrambled up the rubber tire tread, scurried along the curved metal frame, and leaped onto the textured handlebar grip. Planted my sneakers firm, drew my thumb back, and flicked that thumb lever with everything I had. Ding-ding-ring! A loud, crystal-clear chime vibrated right through the grip, sending a sweet metallic hum straight through my soles. Nothing beats ringing in the new outdoor track with a proper fanfare.
