Firehawk Ascendant 🔥 - Securing the Iron Trivet - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 54

I crossed the kitchen tiles toward the morning light pooling on the cast-iron trivet. Resting askew across its raised floral scrollwork, a heavy brass kitchen timer was vibrating toward the edge, tilted precariously by a loose steel tea infuser chain tangled beneath its winding dial. Hesitation was not an option. I scaled the curved iron leg, planted both boots firmly against the filigree, and gripped the beaded chain with both hands. With a sharp, controlled pull, I hauled the links free from the mechanism. The timer settled dead-level upon the iron grate with a solid click. Order is restored.
