Actuation Test
The curb route led past an open service bay humming with industrial sprayers. A yellow emergency stop button was mounted on an aluminum pedestal near the entrance guide rail. I jumped onto the steel baseplate and climbed the ridged conduit pipe to reach the console plate. The mushroom head of the switch had a heavy internal return coil. Bracing one boot against the junction box lip, I shoved the palm of my glove directly against the red cap. It slammed down with a satisfying mechanical crunch, locking into its recessed safety groove. Clean circuit interruption. Mechanical override confirmed.
