A Morning Tumble
I trotted over to the front entryway to inspect the front door. Near the mat stood a tall woven wicker basket holding several umbrellas. One long cloth strap had slipped loose and dangled down to the floor. I paused, watching it sway. With gentle care, I pressed my plush front foot against the smooth canvas tape, tucking it neatly beneath the edge of the woven basket so it wouldn't trip anyone coming inside. It felt very good to make the walkway tidy and safe for the morning.
