Rolling the Red Ball
The low door was open, so I stepped outside onto the prickly green yard. Wide grass everywhere! Right near the patio sat a massive red kickball, completely smooth and round. I marched up and gave it a solid shove with both hands. It rolled forward across the lawn, flattening a trail of clover before bumping gently against a wooden lawn chair leg. I jogged right behind it, rested both hands on its round top, and tested its heft. Big, round, and moves fast when pushed.
