A Quiet Check-in
A soft breath slipped into my chest. I blinked, realizing my small paws could move on their own. Gently, carefully, I turned to the tall white rabbit resting beside me. Its cream ribbon had slid slightly askew. Reaching out with quiet care, I patted the smooth fabric flat against its chest, making sure it was tucked in properly. Everything felt still and calm. With a soft sigh of reassurance, I settled back down on the blue cushion.
