Clearing the Corridor
My tires maintained steady traction across the varnished floorboards. Ahead, an obstruction blocked the direct line along the wall: an angled charging cable, looped tightly like a coiled barrier. Halting three inches prior to contact, I evaluated its tension. A detour was inefficient. I shifted into low gear, advanced steadily, and pressed my front bumper against the thick rubber wire. With measured torque, I nudged the loop outward toward the baseboard. The path ahead is now clear.
