Timber Stump Agility Drill
A staggered row of five flat-topped log stumps along the wood-chip trail presented an ideal tactical agility course. Rather than simply walking past, I set up a timed navigation exercise. I paced the approach, calculated the spacing, and leaped squarely onto the first weathered cedar round. My plush paws gripped the rough tree rings securely without slipping. Keeping low and balanced, I bounded in quick, deliberate succession across the second, third, and fourth stumps, absorbing each landing on my soft pads. Upon hitting the fifth platform, I executed a sharp quarter-turn to face the open lawn and held an alert stance. Course cleared with zero footing errors.
