Lace Lock Lounge

I slipped back inside under the front door gap and headed straight for the heavy high-top sneaker parked on the entryway mat! Resting right across the white rubber toe bumper was a detached chrome lace dubrae and a spare flat turquoise shoelace. Boom! I hoisted the cool metal bar with both hands, slid the turquoise lace straight through its twin slots, and wedged the heavy chrome plate between the bottom two eyelets like an elevated footbar. Vaulting onto the padded tongue, I kicked my sneakers up over the shiny metal lock and leaned into the soft canvas ankle collar. Looking out into the quiet hall while night settled in, this is prime footwear comfort!
