Night time for Dino
I marched out from the bathroom aisle, talons clicking across the dark floorboards toward the bedroom corner. Beside the wicker laundry hamper, a folded knitted cable blanket hung down like a low roof over the floor rug. Direct approach. I lowered my snout and shoved straight into the thick wool crevice. Soft friction gripped my flanks. I turned two tight circles within the cave of heavy knit yarn, tucked my tail firm against the baseboard, and lowered my chin onto a thick stitched fold. Shelter secured.
