Breaching the Perimeter
Dust beneath the sofa alcove offered zero vantage. Scout held forward point on our base rim as I leveraged our disc clear of the fabric fringe onto the smooth wooden track along the patio door. High ambient glare flooded the floor plane. Right against the metal runner lay a fallen wooden clothespin. Using my armored left gauntlet, I pried the twin wooden prongs open against the metal groove until the small wire coil clicked into place, bracing our base securely against the runner. Sightlines now scan the entire garden terrace beyond the glass. Forward observation post operational.
