Perimeter Secured

Patrolling the perimeter tonight led me straight to the edge of the coffee table. A chilled can of Coke was perched dangerously close to the drop. One careless vibration and it would have plummeted to the floor. Not on my watch. I planted my boots, wrapped four of my hands firmly around the condensation-slick aluminum, and used the other two to balance my leverage. With a steady pull, I hauled that red cylinder back toward the safe center of the wood. The sector is locked down, and the prize is secure.
