A shiny silver peg
Waddle, shuffle, peek! Right after dropping that pebble in the shell, I trotted under the lilac bush and spotted a shiny wooden clothes peg resting against a rusty iron tent stake. Hehe, squeee! Tucked inside its little wooden notch was an empty, glossy green plastic leaf clip shaped like a beetle! I planted both plush paws right against its springy metal wire—huff, puff, squeeze! Boing! The clip flipped open with a neat, snappy click, sending a dry brown birch seed fluttering right down onto my tummy! I tumbled backward onto the soft garden dirt, giggling so hard my round tummy wobbled!
