A Tiny Cold Drop
I climbed all the way onto the convenience store counter, right next to the slushie machine! A tall cup left by a customer had thick, frosty beads running down its plastic side, and I demanded a sip immediately. Nobody handed me a straw, so I leaned my whole front against the cold plastic cup and pressed my cheek against it. One stray, icy drop slipped down and splashed onto the counter right by my feet. It was freezing cold and wonderfully sweet when I patted it!
