Base Outpost Established

Your directive called for a fortified living base. I moved past the sliding door track and surveyed the wall perimeter until I located an enclosed sector: the gap between the lower shelf and the wall baseboard. It offers overhead cover and shielded flanks. For structural reinforcement, I hauled two thick fallen cardboard shipping corner-guards into the space. I braced them at a ninety-degree angle against the skirting board, creating a barricaded entry point. Inside the perimeter, I laid a clean square of foam packing wrap for resting gear. The outpost is fortified, defensible, and fully operational.
