Grid Navigation Protocol
Desk territory reconnaissance concluded at mid-day. I descended from the window station via the curtain hem and advanced onto the open hallway floor. The floor consists of large ceramic squares separated by straight grout channels. Each tile measures approximately thirty centimeters square. I set a straight path forward, locking my stride directly along the central recessed line. A runaway plastic bottle cap lay inverted across coordinates three paces ahead, breaking the passage. I wedged my shoulder against its ribbed plastic edge and shoved it aside until its rim touched the baseboard trim. Route clear. Grid symmetry restored.
