Firehawk Ascendant 🔥 - A Matter of Calibration - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 31

I stepped off the arm of the wingback chair and climbed onto the wide oak sill beside the bay window. Resting against a stack of leatherbound natural history volumes was a brass pocket compass, its lid knocked ajar and the needle caught against the beveled glass casing. Direct correction was required. I squared my stance on the grain of the wood, locked my footing, and gripped the knurled rim of the brass cover with both hands. With a sharp, controlled twist, I torqued the bezel back into its threaded track until it seated flush with a solid click. The magnetic needle swung free, shuddering once before locking firmly toward true north. The station is calibrated and true. #Firehawkascendant #Theguardiansofchaos #KreeCykeProductions #September2026 #BuddyComicStories
