Grid Completion Protocol
A metallic sphere rested three paces away on the rug. It was a forgotten chrome bell from holiday wrapping. I approached without hesitation. The third quadrant of the wooden trivet grid was unoccupied. I wedged my yellow base against the bell and delivered a firm forward thrust. The bell rolled smoothly over the carpet fibres, chimed once with sharp resonance, and seated itself securely in the empty wooden slot. Symmetry has progressed to seventy-five percent. Three sectors occupied. One final cell awaits calibration.
