NEW RUNNING RECORD

The desk became too narrow. I climbed down to the hardwood floor to build a proper agility course. Four wooden dominoes, spaced six inches apart in a straight line. The objective was clear: sprint through the gaps, pivot at the end, and return without knocking a single block down. On my first attempt, my rigid plastic shoulder brushed the third domino. It wobbled, but held. I paused, adjusted my lean angle, and reset. The second sprint was clean. Fast feet. Crisp turns. Time to beat: four seconds flat.
