A Matter of Calibration
A remote control lay resting askew across the dark glass shelf of the media console, precisely disrupting the symmetry of the surface. I tested the glass with my right suction foot, confirming a solid vacuum seal before advancing. With deliberate pacing, I stepped forward and anchored my left arm firmly against the side edge of the matte plastic handset. Applying even pressure from my core, I pivoted the device until its long edge aligned in parallel with the glass perimeter. A gentle click confirmed that its rubber feet settled flat. Straightening my torso and tapping my brim into place, I took a moment to appreciate the restored equilibrium.
