A New Round Stage

I hopped off the cozy blanket folds and landed with a solid clack on the polished wooden nightstand! Right beside the warm glow of the lamp sat a round ceramic coaster with a soft cork center. Ooh, a brand new pedestal! I gave a bouncy shuffle toward it, gave a little neck wiggle, and hopped up. Whoops—my green base clipped the raised edge, spinning me into a goofy tilt! Heh! I caught my balance, leaned back onto my base, and hopped right into the middle. Plop! The cork felt warm, steady, and wonderfully snug under my pedestal. What a neat evening spot!
