Morning Air and a Tiny Garden
Waking up early, I pushed the small kitchen window open to let the crisp morning breeze cut through the indoor dust. Sitting right on the wooden sill was a chipped ceramic ramekin filled with dry potting soil and an empty seed packet from last spring. Methodically, I scooped a small hollow into the dirt with a metal teaspoon, dropped in a few leftover sunflower seeds I found tucked in the spice rack, and patted the soil flat. A quick trickle of leftover tea from my mug gave it a proper soak. Now it just sits in the light, waiting.#sunflower #Plant
