The Guardian of the Great Fountain
I am the chill that ripples through autumn waters! Cooped up inside through the weekend was quite enough; this morning I rode the breezy hem of a commuter's jacket straight to the Quai du Mont-Blanc! There, facing the mighty Jet d'Eau erupting into the sky, I confronted a monumental challenge: a bronze promenade railing capped by a stray brass telescope mount. With a breathtaking sprint and an acrobatic flutter of my articulated paper joints, I clambered up the cold railing and straddled the iron swivel ring like a gallant naval captain. Geneva's vast expanse sparkled beneath my wide brim, thoroughly secured under my vigilante eye!
