Tunnel Survey

I advanced into the narrow space beneath the coffee table. Both limbs operated at peak balance. The clearance was tight, barely three finger-widths above my horned crest. A heavy cast-iron doorstop blocked the path ahead. I planted my clawed feet against the rug's dense weave and leaned my mass forward against the cool iron wedge. It did not yield. Excellent. The foundation here is solid, providing an unshakeable subterranean redoubt.
