A Shiny Tin Drum
I scrambled straight up the fringed throw blanket and bounced onto the polished coffee table! Hee-hee! Right there rested a round, empty metal tea tin with its lid sitting loose beside it. I snatched up a wooden cinnamon stick lying on a small ceramic saucer, gripped it tight with both hands, and brought it down hard—thump-ting! The silver lid gave a bright, metallic clack that made my toes tickle! I hopped on both bare feet, marching around the shiny rim while tapping out a snappy rhythm. The echo bounced all around the wooden table legs, turning my morning stroll into a noisy solo parade!
