A Soft Flutter

Warmth tickled my little fingers. I blinked into the quiet dimness and felt the soft, round cushion behind me. Slowly, carefully, I wiggled my right arm. It moved! My tiny blanket rustled against my tummy. Down by my foot, something yellow rested on the floral cloth. I leaned forward just an inch and tapped the smooth yellow pacifier with my toe. It gave a gentle, quiet click. Everything here was still and cozy, so I snuggled back into the big red pillow, hugging my quilt close.
