The Shoehorn Track
I trotted inside through the front door and headed straight for the low entryway bench to kick back. Resting right against the rubber toe of a sneaker was a long, curved metal shoehorn! It made a sleek, shiny slide angled down to the polished floorboards. Naturally... something needed to ride it. I found a stray glass marble by the umbrella stand, climbed up to the top curve, and let it drop. Zzzip-clink! The marble shot down the slick silver scoop, launched off the curled lip, and skated cleanly across three oak planks before tapping against the baseboard with a sweet little chime.
