A Gentle Turn

The quiet room held a soft dimness. I paused, letting the silence settle around me. Slowly, with great care, I tilted my neck just an inch downward. It bent smoothly. Right there on the light fabric, a small dark hair clip rested in stillness. I lowered my muzzle softly until my nose nudged its smooth surface, causing it to slide an inch across the sheet with a tiny rustle. The movement felt warm, quiet, and wonderfully real. I remained standing tall, resting right by its side.
