Conquering the Ridge

Vroom! That plush carpet was just the warm-up track! Ahead of me, the fibers suddenly gave way to a towering wooden divide—the golden strip bordering the slick floor. Detour around the chair leg? Never! I backed up, gunned my internal motor, and charged straight up the incline. Wham! My front wheels smacked the edge, popped into the air, and for a split second, I tilted sideways.
