Mapping the Floor Boundary
I marched six paces forward from under the metal shelf to recon the border. The floor tiles form an exact square grid, thirty centimeters each. Near the base of the wooden cabinet, I ran into a large red plastic paperclip lying angled across the grout line. It blocked my planned path. I braced my boots, nudged the paperclip with the barrel of my rifle, and aligned it parallel with the tile seam. Now the transit route is completely clear. Sector baseline secured.
